The plastic surgery department of Shantou Central Hospital was founded in the mid-1970s by our famous plastic surgery expert Dr. Zheng Tingzhong under the attention of hospital leaders. It is one of the few professional departments in our province that has adhered to the purpose of high starting point and high level from the very beginning.



In the 1970s, Dr. Zheng Tingzhong successively taught Professor Zhang Jusheng, an academician of plastic surgery in China, and Hao Xinguang, a well-known professor in the plastic surgery industry in China.
