The Second People's Hospital of Shenzhen (the First Affiliated Hospital of Shenzhen University) is located at the foot of the beautiful Bijia Mountain, in the downtown area of Shenzhen. There are viaducts in the east and west of the hospital, municipal administration and Huandao Avenue in the north and south, and the subway line 7 under construction has a hospital exit, which has developed transportation and is convenient for medical treatment. The hospital was established in September 1979. In 1996, it was successfully built into a "Grade III Grade A" hospital in China, which is one of the first batch of "six in one" modern general hospitals in Shenzhen integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, health care, rehabilitation and health education. In 2008, it was approved by the Ministry of Education as the "No. (1) Affiliated Hospital of Shenzhen University". In 2008, the Ministry of Health of China was awarded the title of "National Health Unit", which is the only large-scale modern comprehensive hospital in Shenzhen so far.

Burn and Plastic Surgery Department of Shenzhen Second People's Hospital was established in August 1990, which is the early key medical development specialty of Shenzhen Z (1996). There are 60 beds, including intensive care unit, general ward, plastic surgery ward and professional operating room, with a total of 44 medical staff. Every year, there are more than 900 inpatients and about 800 surgical cases, of which nearly 100 are critical patients and 95% are rescued every year. Large area deep burn, electrical injury, respiratory tract burn, and treatment of residual burn wounds are the characteristics of the undergraduate course. At the same time, dozens of life cosmetology operations, such as late burn scar deformity, congenital organ deformity, medical cosmetology, laser, strong light, etc., were carried out, all meeting the requirements of patients, and the medical quality was recognized and praised by the public.
In 1996, it was the first batch of key medical specialties in Shenzhen.
