The Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine (hereinafter referred to as the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University of Medicine) was established in 1869, formerly known as Hangzhou Guangji Hospital established by the Anglican Church in China. From 1885 to 1925, Guangji Hospital affiliated to the hospital was one of the early hospitals in China. After a hundred years of wind and rain, it has created today's glory. Today, more than 140 years later, the Second Hospital of Zhejiang Medical College is a modern comprehensive research hospital with distinctive professional characteristics.
At present, the hospital has 2000 approved beds, more than 2200 open beds, and the annual outpatient and emergency treatment volume is about 232. The Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine is a specialty of plastic surgery, which was established earlier (1983) in Zhejiang Province and has strong medical teaching and research strength. In 1996, it established a master's program.
At present, there are 32 verified beds and 20 medical staff, including 2 chief physicians, 4 associate chief physicians and 3 attending physicians. Director Cheng Jian is the national member of the Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association (the only one in our province), and the director of the Plastic Surgery Branch of Zhejiang Medical Association.
