How long will the IVF process take?
In vitro fertilization (IVF) is an assisted reproductive technology that helps couples who cannot conceive naturally realize their reproductive dreams. The process of IVF includes many steps, from preparation to successful pregnancy, the whole process usually takes several months or even longer. 1. Preparatory stage (1-2 months)

4. Embryo implantation and pregnancy detection (14 days later)
Embryo implantation is the last step in the IVF process. Embryos can be implanted into the uterus through endometrial transfer (ET). This process is usually brief and does not require anesthesia. Doctors will choose the best time to implant the embryo into the uterus.
After embryo implantation, women need to have a pregnancy test two weeks later to determine whether they have successfully conceived. This is usually measured by blood and urine samples. If the result is positive, the IVF process is successful. If the result is negative, the couple can further discuss with the doctor and choose whether to try IVF or other assisted reproductive technologies again.
