1. Erythema and telangiectasia
Erythema appears in the middle of the face, especially in the nose, cheeks, eyebrows and chin. It is symmetrically distributed. Erythema is temporary at the beginning. When eating spicy food or hot drinks, the ambient temperature rises, and the emotion is impulsive, the face is flushed and congested, and the person feels hot. After repeated attacks, superficial dendritic telangiectasia appeared at the nasal alar, tip and cheek, with local persistent redness, often accompanied by nasal hair follicle pore expansion and sebum overflow.
2. Papulous stage
On the basis of erythema and telangiectasia, acne like follicular papules and pustules appear repeatedly. Furuncle, cyst and deep inflammatory nodule are formed when the damage is deeper and larger. The mouth of the hair follicle on the nose and cheeks is enlarged, which can rise and fall one after another in several years, sometimes light and sometimes heavy. The skin rash of middle-aged women often worsens before menstruation.
There are three common treatments for rosacea: surgical therapy, physical therapy and drug therapy. Surgical treatment is divided into skin grinding and cutting. Physical therapy can treat rosacea by laser, photon and cryotherapy. In drug therapy, both oral and external drugs can treat rosacea to a certain extent, but they have certain limitations.
