In the late 1990s, we carried out some innovative operations, such as reduction of giant breasts, correction of inverted nipples, etc.
Since 2000, our department has focused on the treatment of body surface malignant tumors, such as the resection and functional reconstruction of intractable body surface malignant tumors, and the comprehensive treatment of malignant melanoma, demonstrating our superb strength in medical technology.
So far, our department has formed a comprehensive characteristic department integrating plastic surgery, beauty and burn treatment. We are in the leading position both at home and abroad in the fields of conventional plastic surgery, perineum and reproductive organ repair, scar prevention and minimally invasive surgery.
The burn, plastic and aesthetic department of the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College also has a strong medical team and advanced equipment. Among them, associate professor Zhou Guofu, the department director, is the leader of the discipline of burn plastic surgery and cosmetology in Northeast Sichuan, and has rich experience in the treatment of large area and severe burns.
