Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology was established at the end of 2006 as a medical beauty center for nearly 20 years established by the hospital's science and technology and economic development company. At the beginning of the establishment of the department, we adhered to the strategic decision of rapid development from a high starting point, paid attention to the training of internal talents, did a lot of work in the inheritance and innovation of traditional technologies, the introduction and exploration of good technologies, paid attention to discipline construction, introduced high-level talents, and coordinated and enriched the overall echelon of the department. At present, there are 14 doctors, including 1 professor and doctoral supervisor, 2 associate professors and graduate supervisors, 2 deputy chief physicians, 9 attending physicians, and 18 nurses* Doctors are engaged in clinical research in Japan, the United States and South Korea. The department has a laser treatment center, an inpatient department and an outpatient operating room. The inpatient department has 34 beds and three VIP rooms, covering an area of more than 2000 square meters, ranking first in the province.
Under the leadership of Professor Wu Yiping, the discipline leader and the department director, we have kept pace with the times and blazed new trails. After years of rapid development, we have become the main committee of plastic surgery in Hubei Province. Many technologies characterized by breast reconstruction have become the technical benchmark in central China and an important base for repair and treatment of difficult diseases. It takes 20-30 years to complete similar specialties, which is reflected in the training and reserve of professionals, the scale of wards, the allocation of outpatient operating rooms and the purchase of a number of y-line professional equipment. In terms of professional technology, our department's improved breast conserving therapy for breast cancer and breast reconstruction therapy for stage I and II breast cancer are unique, and are at the leading level in the province and even in the country. In addition, many difficult operations are also in the leading position in China. For example, there are many examples of total ear reconstruction surgery. At the same time, nose augmentation plastic surgery, facial contour plastic surgery, facial rejuvenation series technology, such as detailed wrinkle removal, periorbital wrinkle removal, have made great achievements. Good laser therapeutic instruments that have been put into use, such as the adjustment of Q1064 multi-function laser therapeutic instrument, K6 Cresyl Star composite radio frequency beauty therapeutic instrument, German hydrodynamic liposuction system and Snake brand endoscopic surgical equipment, minimally invasive technology and beauty surgery * *, have enabled the vast majority of patients to obtain satisfactory treatment. In particular, it is worth mentioning that it is the first time in Hubei Province to use endoscopy to complete breast related plastic surgery, such as breast augmentation, removal of benign breast tumors, breast cancer breast conservation or breast reconstruction. Since the endoscopic breast surgery can select a small incision in a concealed part, the positioning operation under the endoscope is delicate and minimally invasive, reducing the damage to the appearance of the breast, and truly realizing minimally invasive breast plastic surgery.
