1. Is nose augmentation difficult? 2 minutes more than silicone prosthesis
In retrospect, I am worried that it was difficult to remove the augmentation rhinoplasty at first, but in fact, except for half an hour of preparation before surgery, the removal time was very short.
The doctor's explanation is that after the protuberance is implanted into the nose, some tissues are actually as long as the pores of the prosthesis, but only grow like a layer on the surface of the protuberance.
It takes one minute to remove the silica gel, For experienced doctors, it only takes three minutes to remove the swelling 。
Therefore, whether you want to remove the swollen nose in 3, 5, 10 or 20 years, whether you are infected with redness or don't like the shape of my nose, it is not very difficult for doctors with more clinical experience to remove the swelling.
2. What is the probability of contracture after augmentation rhinoplasty? Can nose deform?
After augmentation rhinoplasty, the nose will have a certain probability of contracture, which is normal. Two months after the nasal prosthesis was taken out, I also experienced contracture. I see some people will contracture after 50 operations.
But in fact, the original inflatable prosthesis expanded the internal tissue of the nose, and the tissue of the nose became tight. When the prosthesis is taken out, the enlarged space needs to be filled by the autologous tissue of the nose, and the nose will slowly shrink, which is now called contracture.
After good postoperative care, the contracture slowly disappeared after 3-6 months of detumescence.
3. Can augmentation rhinoplasty restore its original state? Is it the same as before?
At the beginning, I also thought, what will happen if my nose is swollen for three years? Can it be restored to its original appearance?
One year after the expansion prosthesis was taken out, my nose slowly returned to its original appearance before rhinoplasty.
So don't worry, it's just a matter of time before the nose collapses after the prosthesis and the width of the nose wing slowly recovers to the previous nose.
4. Can augmentation rhinoplasty repair and replace prosthesis immediately?
First explain that I didn't put a prosthesis after I finished rhinoplasty. However, the sisters are very concerned about this question, so they can answer it:
Most augmentation rhinoplasty can not be performed immediately after removal, and the new prosthesis can only be reset after the restoration of nasal tissue.
