There is an obvious problem on my face. The cheekbones are high and low. One side is particularly prominent, and the other side is flat. My face is not particularly symmetrical.

Some people say that pressing the prominent side of the cheekbones when sleeping will have an effect. I sleep like this every day, but it has no obvious effect. Besides massage, it feels like a bone problem. Massage should be useless.
So what method can I use to correct the height of cheekbones?
So I went to consult a plastic surgeon. The doctor said that one face was tall and narrow, and the other was low, wide and short. This asymmetry is usually caused by the shape of the bones, and massage is very limited.

In this case, the more obvious correction method is to push the cheekbones.
The zygomatic arch reduction surgery is to enter the front from the oral incision, enter the back from the ear incision, cut the zygomatic bones from the front or both sides, and push horizontally inward. After adjusting the distance, the wound was fixed with titanium nails, and the suture was basically completed.

But I only have one side protruding, can I push my cheekbones inward to only one side?
The doctor said that in this case, on the one hand, the cheekbones are relatively developed or asymmetrical, which can be corrected unilaterally, but it is relatively rare. Since the angle and degree of both sides will be different during osteotomy, it is generally recommended that both sides should be operated at the same time.
It is worth noting that we must choose a good hospital and doctor. Bone surgery belongs to the fourth level surgery, which is difficult. No doctor in any hospital can do well. Only hospitals with Grade IV plastic surgery qualification can conduct it. In addition, the doctors who perform such operations shall be at least deputy chief physicians.
